Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has accused President Donald Trump of downplaying the climate crisis as global temperatures rise with relaxed emissions policies.
Trump And His Big Oil Friends
In a post on X on Tuesday, Sanders slammed Trump and “his Big Oil friends” for wanting to increase “fossil fuel and carbon emissions,” as well as criticized the President for calling climate change “a hoax.”

“Meanwhile, the planet is warming at dangerous levels and Europe is facing a record-breaking heatwave,” Sanders said, adding that humanity must break the “fossil fuel addiction” to “save the planet.”
