At around 7:46 a.m., a complaint was filed from the polling station in Sinhyeon-dong, Gwangju, claiming "something like election fraud had occurred." The incident began when a polling official asked a voter why he had only inserted two ballots. The accused voter claimed he had received only two of the three ballot sheets issued in the round for the selecting the superintendent of education, provincial governor and mayor. An on-site check of the electronic records confirmed that all three ballots had been printed and issued normally. The National Election Commission has been notified and has begun looking into the matter.
