THEON has announced new orders of 42 million euros, with an additional 27 million euros in purchase options.Since the beginning of the year, the value of new orders and additional purchase options has reached 144 million euros and 67 million euros, respectively, reflecting continued momentum across all product categories.THEON has set a target for new orders to exceed billings (book-to-bill ratio above 1.0x) in 2026.The company reaffirmed its guidance for the current year, forecasting revenue growth of approximately 30% compared with 2025, with more than 20% expected to be generated through organic growth. As management highlighted, ongoing geopolitical developments and Europe’s commitment to strengthening its defence capabilities continue to support demand for defence equipment, as well as THEON’s expanded product portfolio.Philippe Mennicken, Deputy CEO and Business Development Director of THEON, stated that “this KAPPA order represents more than 50% of its current annual revenues and was secured just five months after the completion of its acquisition by THEON.”He added that “this development provides clear evidence of the revenue synergies we can achieve through our recent acquisitions, leveraging the strong network of our Business Development team and the trust of our customers. We expect to further strengthen our penetration into platform-based systems through our investment in MERIO, as well as through other targeted initiatives and business opportunities.”Electro-Optical SystemsAccording to THEON, the largest portion of the new orders relates to Vehicle Awareness Systems developed by Kappa Optronics (KAPPA), which will be installed on hundreds of armoured vehicles in a European Union member state. Deliveries under the programme are scheduled to take place between 2026 and 2028.The KAPPA order will be financed through the European SAFE (Security Action for Europe) mechanism, enabling additional countries to join the same contract and creating opportunities for further sales and order intake. Together with the recently announced PHYLAX system order, the new KAPPA contract strengthens THEON’s position in the platform electro-optical systems segment and supports its broader strategy of increasing and diversifying revenue streams.
