A dirt biker who was seriously injured in an incident that led to the death of another rider has been released from hospital, but police are remaining tight-lipped about their investigation.
Jahkani Hamilton (Jk), 18, was killed and another man seriously injured after the pair were knocked off their dirt bikes in two separate Northland locations on May 5.
Police said they believed Hamilton was knocked from his bike on Ngapipito Rd in Kaikohe and the other rider on Tana Rd in Moerewa.

Nearly a month on from Hamilton’s death, police are yet to offer any further information, but they continue to appeal for information.
