Dressing for the office during the summer comes with its own set of challenges. When you’re working from home, you can throw on a tank top and lounge shorts, no problem, but wearing that same outfit into the office won’t cut it, even if it is 100 degrees Fahrenheit outside. To get around the dilemma of dressing for hot weather, cute summer dresses are my go-tos for the office. Not only are they an easy option to throw on when it’s hot and you don’t know what to wear but they make it easier to feel polished without putting as much thought into styling or accessorizing your look.

To help you find your next work-friendly summer dress, I’ve rounded up some of the styles the CNN Underscored editors are wearing to the office. Even though every office has a different dress code, this list is a solid place to start if you’re hunting for some fashion inspiration.

Hill House Home The Cosima Nap Dress

Nap dresses are incredibly comfortable, but until the Cosima came along, I never wore them to the office. With this style’s high neck, though, I feel appropriately covered up, and I appreciate the more neutral prints its available in (I personally have the brown seersucker). I pair it with a denim jacket in summer, since the office is usually cold, and it’s become one of my easiest, breeziest summer outfits. — Chelsea Stone, editorial director
