The Bengaluru West and South Corporation convened a meeting on Tuesday regarding Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and directed booth-level officers and other officials to ensure door-to-door visits and verification.The Commissioners of the corporations directed the officials to add eligible new voters to the electoral rolls, remove duplicates, shifted, deceased, and otherwise ineligible voters from the rolls, and also distribute prescribed forms for correction of erroneous details and collect completed applications during the visits.To ensure transparency and accuracy throughout the process, the civic bodies have allowed political parties to actively participate in the survey process by appointing Booth Level Agents (BLAs), who may work alongside the officials during the exercise.
