The Hyderabad police conducted a counselling and rehabilitation session for 100 drug users and peddlers as part of its ongoing efforts to curb drug abuse and trafficking in the city.The programme, organised by the Commissioner’s Task Force units of Shamshabad and Rajendranagar zones, was aimed at encouraging participants to overcome addiction and reintegrate into society.The session featured expert talks on the psychological, social, legal and health consequences of substance abuse. Psychologist and emotional intelligence coach Chinmayee Tammareddy addressed participants on mental health, addiction recovery and emotional resilience.A.
