Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, at the State formation day celebrations on Tuesday, felicitated select principals and headmasters with the Award of Excellence recognising their contribution to education and student empowerment.Mr. Reddy in his speech said, “Our teachers and principals are the true architects of Telangana’s future. Their commitment to excellence inspires students to dream bigger and achieve greater heights.”Among the awardees were: Principal of Government Arts & Science College (Kamareddy), K. Vijay Kumar, who was crucial in improving enrollment from 680 to 1,063; Principal of Government Polytechnic (Siddipet), A. Govardhan, who achieved 99% admissions despite rural challenges; Principal of Government Junior College for Girls (Mahabubnagar), Kauser Jahan, who introduced EAPCET online coaching, facilitated 64 students in securing ranks, and increased enrollment to 75% over the sanctioned strength; Headmaster of GSSR MPPS, Gatla Narsingapur (Hanumakonda), Nimma Venkateshwarlu, for increasing enrollment from 475 to 571 and nurturing students to excel in Gurukula exams and public speaking; and Headmaster of PMSHRI ZPHS Manikonda, V. Niranjan, for increasing the school’s strength from 450 to 1,373, improving SSC results from 31% to 88%, and achieving full digitalization with modern STEM facilities.
