A Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) awareness programme on the Emergency Credit Limit Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS 5.0) will be held at the CODISSIA office in Coimbatore on Friday (June 5, 2026).The event is organised by the Tamil Nadu State Bank Coordination Committee (SLBC) and Canara Bank Coimbatore.The ECLGS 5.0 is a credit guarantee scheme designed to help businesses, including MSMEs and the aviation sector, in meeting their short-term financial needs. The programme will provide MSMEs, banks, financial institutions and industry associations with a detailed explanation of the scheme’s purpose, eligibility criteria, application procedures, guarantee facilities and benefits.The event is being organised as per the instructions of the Department of Financial Services, Government of India. Officials from NCGTC, Jan Samarth / PSB Alliance, SLBC and various banks will participate and provide explanations related to the scheme. Around 150 to 200 participants including MSME entrepreneurs from Coimbatore and surrounding areas, representatives of industry associations, banks and financial institutions are expected to take part.
