The drive is officially licensed for PlayStation. It’s made with the same firmware and plays nicely with all models of PS5 and PS4. For PS4 users, this also means you can access/play all the stored games directly from the drive instead of moving them to the console first. PS5 users will need to store titles on the drive and then transfer them to the console to play, but since the setup is pretty straightforward, it shouldn’t take too long.
