Low storage problem is something almost every gamer is familiar with. One day everything is fine, but the next you’re struggling to install the latest title because you’ve run out of space. What should the next course of action be when this happens? You can either delete some old games to free up storage or expand it by adding an external drive to the system.

Of course, the second option is much less painful and right now, also easier on the wallet for PlayStation users. The 2TB Seagate external hard drive for PS is now discounted by 14% on Amazon, which drops its $140 price to $120. It’s got plenty of space to comfortably house all your old and new favorites, but if you want to go all out with something even more roomy, the 5TB version of the drive is discounted. It’s sitting at $180, down from $220.

The drive is officially licensed for PlayStation. It’s made with the same firmware and plays nicely with all models of PS5 and PS4. For PS4 users, this also means you can access/play all the stored games directly from the drive instead of moving them to the console first. PS5 users will need to store titles on the drive and then transfer them to the console to play, but since the setup is pretty straightforward, it shouldn’t take too long.
