The Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation (TIIC) is conducting a special business campaign for micro, small, and medium (MSME) enterprises till June 30.

In a release, District Collector L. Madhubalan said that TIIC is a Tamil Nadu Government State Finance Corporation, founded in 1949. TIIC has been a pioneer in industry development by providing financial assistance for numerous industries/service-related units with the support of the State government.

TIIC is providing financial assistance to micro, small, and medium enterprises/service sectors under various special schemes to set up new industries/service-oriented units for the purpose of new establishment /expansion of existing units and diversifying their products.

The TIIC, Salem Branch Office, functioning at Swarnapuri in Salem, conducts a special business campaign for MSME enterprises from June 1 to June 30.

A detailed presentation on the special features of various schemes of TIIC, including loan assistance under the Annal Ambedkar Business Champions Scheme, the NEED scheme for exclusively first-generation entrepreneurs, and a 25% State subsidy subject to a maximum of ₹1.50 crore for eligible categories, besides a 5% Back Ended Interest Subsidy (BEIS) for technology upgradation/modernization by existing MSMEs, will be given at this Special Business Campaign.
