A joint forensic probe into a deadly explosion at a burnt-down Hanwha Aerospace factory in Daejeon began Tuesday, a day after the accident claimed five lives and injured two workers.

A group of more than 30 investigators launched a detailed examination of a cleaning room inside Building 56 at 10 a.m. The investigators included personnel from the Daejeon Metropolitan Police Agency, the Daejeon Fire Headquarters, the National Forensic Service and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency.
