His loved ones reported him as a missing person when they became concerned for his welfare. Officers had been heading up the search for Lee Butler in the Ogmore by Sea area of South Wales.‌After a week-long search a body has now been recovered, and while police have not formerly identified the body to be Lee's they have informed his next of kin.‌A South Wales Police spokesman said: "A body has been found in the search for Lee Butler, from Staffordshire, who was last seen on Tuesday, May 26. While formal identification has not yet taken place, Lee's next of kin have been informed. Our thoughts are with them."‌In a heartfelt tribute posted on Facebook, Lee's mum Sharon wrote: "There are no words to describe the heartbreak of losing you. As your mother, I loved you from the moment you came into this world, and I will love you for every moment after you've gone. Forever loved. Forever missed.
