Wash your hands regularly with soap and clean water or use alcohol-based hand sanitizers, especially after touching public surfaces or caring for sick people.
Avoid direct contact with blood and body fluids such as saliva, sweat, vomit, urine, or feces from anyone showing symptoms of illness.
Do not handle dead bodies or participate in unsafe burial practices without proper protective measures and trained health officials.
Avoid bush meat and contact with wild animals, especially fruit bats and monkeys, which can carry the Ebola virus.
