The creator may strive for perfection. But perfection is a paradox – unachievable and, I argue, undesirable. Yet, within the folds of this paradox exists a latent truth: our inability to reach the absolute pinnacle of our creative desires is precisely what makes the work important. In short: imperfection is perfect.This paradox is a uniquely human phenomenon; generative AI is notionally, and increasingly so, immune to our fallibility.
