MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Jinggoy Estrada will be committed to the New Quezon City Jail in Barangay Payatas, the Sandiganbayan Fifth Division’s clerk of court confirmed on Monday afternoon.
The Sandiganbayan Fifth Division issued an arrest warrant against Estrada and his co-accused for non-bailable plunder and graft cases.
Aside from Estrada, those ordered arrested are former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Manuel Bonoan and former DPWH engineering officials from the National Capital Region, namely assistant district engineer Denryl Caesar Cortuna and district engineers Manny Bulusan and Arturo Gonzales Jr.
