Almost half of the next edition of the College Football Playoff will air on TNT, and the Rose Bowl might be an evening kickoff for the first time in two decades.The CFP on Monday revealed broadcast information and kickoff times for most of the 12-team tournament, which changes in 2026 with a new six-year media rights deal kicking in, though specifics of the quarterfinals are yet to be determined.Notably, two first-round games, two quarterfinals and one semifinal will air on TNT, truTV and HBO Max as part of an expanded licensing deal after ESPN sold those game rights to Warner Bros. Discovery. Previously, TNT aired only two first-round games in the first two years of the 12-team Playoff.ESPN will air a first-round game the night of Friday, Dec. 18, then another at noon ET the next day (with an ABC simulcast). TNT will take over the 3:30 p.m. ET and 7:30 p.m. ET games once again, with those two airing at the same time as NFL games.
