Maritime verification and auditing specialist Normec Verifavia returns to Posidonia for a second time, focusing on the growing need for independent assurance as environmental regulations reshape shipping operations.
Building on the discussions initiated during its participation at Posidonia 2024, the company expects industry conversations in 2026 to move further from regulatory awareness toward practical implementation, particularly as the EU Emissions Trading System and FuelEU Maritime enter active compliance phases.
At the exhibition, Normec Verifavia will highlight its established portfolio of sustainability assurance services, including EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime verification, EU MRV assessments, alternative fuel emissions verification, and water testing services supported by a global network covering more than 70 ports.
