The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat will bring cloudy skies and rains over Metro Manila and parts of Luzon and Visayas on Tuesday, June 2.In its 4 a.m. daily weather forecast, PAGASA said the Habagat is affecting Luzon and the western section of Visayas.Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, and Occidental Mindoro will experience occasional rains due to the Southwest Monsoon.The Habagat will also bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms to Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and Western Visayas.The state weather bureau warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains in these areas.The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms as a result of localized thunderstorms, which may also cause possible flash floods or landslides.Meanwhile, the weather disturbance formerly known as Typhoon Domeng (Severe Tropical Storm Jangmi) has exited the PAGASA’s monitoring domain as of 2 a.m. Tuesday.“No other Low Pressure Areas (LPAs) are being monitored for Tropical Cyclone Formation,” the state weather bureau said.Extreme Northern Luzon will experience moderate winds and moderate seas, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.Sunrise on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 is at 5:26 a.m. and sunset is at 6:22 p.m. — JMA, GMA News
