The Global Atomic senior leadership's visit to Niger earlier this month "solidified government support" for Global Atomic's under-development Dasa uranium mine, Global Atomic CEO Stephen Roman said in a May 26 statement. Roman and other senior executives from the Canadian junior led a delegation of Nigerien government officials to the greenfield Dasa site in northern Niger, where the officials "were impressed with both the high level of local employment at all levels" of the onsite workforce "and the extent of work completed to date."
