(Photo from Bureau of Fire Protection Central Luzon Facebook page) The death toll in the collapse of a building under construction in Angeles City, Pampanga last week has climbed to 14 on Monday night, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Central Luzon said.In a Facebook post, the BFP Central Luzon said the body of the 14th fatality was extricated from the rubble in Barangay Balibago at 11:20 p.m. on Monday, June 1.The victim’s remains was sighted earlier on Monday afternoon.Earlier in the day, the body of the 13th victim was recovered from the rubble at around 12:59 p.m.The nine-storey building under construction collapsed on May 24. So far, authorities rescued 27 victims, while six are still missing. — JMA, GMA News
