ANGELES CITY — Exactly one week after an under construction nine-story building collapsed in Barangay Balibago here, rescuers recovered a seventh body from the wreckage on Sunday morning.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported that the latest remains were retrieved at 7:42 a.m.
Authorities have yet to identify of the latest casualty, pending verification and notification of the victim’s next of kin.
The recovery came as search, rescue, and retrieval operations continued despite heavy rain overnight.
