The Association of Corporate Trustees of Nigeria (ACT) is set to host its 2026 Annual Conference on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The conference, themed “A New Legal Order: Corporate Trustees at the Intersection of Regulatory Reforms,” will provide a strategic platform for stakeholders within Nigeria’s financial services and capital market ecosystem to examine the evolving regulatory environment and its implications for corporate trusteeship practice.

The event is expected to attract regulators, policymakers, trustees, legal practitioners, financial institutions, capital market operators, and other key stakeholders to discuss emerging legal and regulatory developments that are shaping the future of trust services in Nigeria.

Speaking on the significance of the conference, ACT President Omolola Iyinolakan said the increasing pace of regulatory reforms within the financial system requires corporate trustees to remain proactive, adaptive, and aligned with global best practices.

“The evolving legal and regulatory landscape presents both opportunities and responsibilities for corporate trustees,” Iyinolakan said.
