The Iranian negotiating team has interrupted the exchange of messages with the United States through mediators following the escalation of Israeli attacks against Lebanon. This was reported by the Tasnim agency, according to which the situation in Lebanon represents an essential element of the ceasefire and Tehran believes that the truce has been violated "on all fronts, including Lebanon". For this reason, "no dialogue will take place" until the demands of Iran and Hezbollah are met.
