Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s eldest son, Maddox is following in his siblings footsteps after he reportedly filed to legally drop his father's surname from his surname.
According to “TMZ” the 24-year-old has submitted documentation for a formal name change as he is seeking to remove Pitt, wanting to be legally recognised as Maddox Chivan Jolie.
Maddox dropped Pitt from his name professionally, listing himself as only "Maddox Jolie" while working as an assistant director on Angelina’s latest movie, "Couture". Now, he is filing to make the name change official.
In the movie, Angelina portrayed the role of an American film director diagnosed with breast cancer as soon as she arrived in France to make a video for Paris Fashion Week.
