The Kospi surged to a record high on Monday amid expectations surrounding Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang’s upcoming visit to Korea and potential partnerships with some of the country’s largest technology and manufacturing companies.
Beginning Friday, Huang is expected to hold talks with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Euisun Chung, LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo and Naver founder and Chairman Lee Hae-jin.
