Kareena Kapoor Khan is an Indian actress who predominantly works in the Bollywood film industry. She belongs to the illustrious Kapoor family and is the daughter of actors Babita and Randhir Kapoor and the younger sister of actress Karisma Kapoor. Kapoor is the recipient of several accolades including six Filmfare Awards. She is considered one of the highest-paid actresses in Bollywood and has played varied characters in different genres of films. In 2000, she made her Bollywood debut with the war film ‘Refugee.’ Following this, she appeared in films like ‘Asoka,’ and ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.’ The turning point in her career came with the 2003 film ‘Chameli.’ Her roles in ‘Dev’ and ‘Omkara’ also earned her rave reviews. She further gained popularity with films like ‘Jab We Met,’ ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu,’ ‘Kurbaan,’ ‘Heroine,’ and ‘Udta Punjab,’ among others.
