A total of 56880 candidates of the 179694 who appeared in both papers 1 and 2 have qualified in JEE (Advanced) 2026. Shubham Kumar of IIT Delhi zone is the top ranker in the Common Rank List (CRL), scoring 330 out of 360 marks.Arohi Deshpande , also from the IIT Delhi zone is the top-ranked female candidate with CRL 77. She obtained 280 out of 360 marks.According to a press release issued by the organising chairperson, JEE (Advanced) 2026, out of the total qualified candidates, 10107 are female and 40562 are male. Total number of qualified general candidates is 15883 and that of qualified general (economically weaker sections) candidates is 6377. A total of 12385 OBC-NCL have qualified, as have 15856 SC candidates and 6379 ST candidates.IIT Roorkee conducted JEE (Advanced) 2026.Ten foreign students have qualified. Jatin Chahar of the IIT Delhi zone has topped in the OBC-NCL category; B Jayakrishna Srinivas of IIT Bombay zone in GEN (EWS); Kovid BooB of IIT Bombay zone in SC and Jatin Kumar of IIT Delhi zone in ST category.Arsh Jain (IIT Kanpur zone) has ranked first in CRL-PwD; Parva Pavan Agrawal (IIT Delhi zone) first among GEN-EWS-PwD; Nanala Naga Chaitanya (IIT Madras zone) in OBC-NCL-PwD; Navtej (IIT Roorkee zone) in SC-PwD and Anchal Puri (IIT Kanpur zone) in ST-PwD. IIT Madras has the maximum number of candidates in the top 100 at 35, followed by the IIT Delhi zone with 29 and the IIT Bombay zone with 23. There are 9 candidates in the top 100 from the IIT Roorkee zone; 3 from IIT Kanpur zone and 1 from IIT Bhubaneswar zone.IIT Madras zone has the maximum number of candidates in the top 500 with 174; followed by the IIT Bombay zone with 120 and the IIT Delhi zone with 114.IIT Madras leads in terms of the maximum number of qualified candidates – 14294 – from there, followed by IIT Bombay zone with 12389 and IIT Delhi zone with 10697.
