COTABATO CITY — A group of healthcare workers has accused Mayor Lina Montilla of Tacurong City in Sultan Kudarat of abusing her authority for allegedly not releasing at least P18 million in Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) benefits owed to local healthcare workers.

The administrative complaint was filed last May 20 before the Provincial Board of Sultan Kudarat by health personnel led by City Health Officer Dr. Giovanni D. Deles. It was made public over the weekend.
