Jun 1, 2026 – 12.00pmFortescue’s battery making division has been accused of reprehensible, fraudulent and deceptive conduct after it supplied allegedly defective power units to a marine propulsion company in the United States.The ASX-listed mining giant moved into battery production when it acquired British company Williams Advanced Engineering for $US223 million ($311 million) in 2022.
