The Super Eagles of Nigeria produced a commanding performance to defeat Jamaica 3-0 and successfully defend their Unity Cup title in London on Saturday.
Midfielder Alhassan Yusuf starred for Eric Chelle’s side, scoring twice in the third and 91st minutes as Nigeria secured a fourth Unity Cup title.
Yusuf handed the Super Eagles an early lead, setting the tone for a dominant display against the Reggae Boyz.
Nigeria doubled their advantage through Terem Moffi after an impressive run by Femi Azeez. The winger beat his marker before delivering a pinpoint cross into the penalty area for Moffi to finish clinically.
Yusuf completed his brace deep into stoppage time, latching onto a pass from Philip Otele before firing beyond the Jamaican goalkeeper to seal an emphatic victory.
