The Ondo State Police Command on Sunday said it had arrested six men in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, in connection with fraudulent activities that occurred in Ondo town.
According to the command, the suspects are Adeola Kolawole (56), Alhaji Gani Bello (73), Oladoja Akeem (56), Wasiu Adigun (55), Azeez Yusuf (49) and Ojo Mudasiru (40).
In a statement issued by the state police Public Relations Officer DSP Abayomi Jimoh, the suspects were apprehended in Ibadan, following a painstaking and intelligence-driven investigation by operatives of the Ondo command.
The PPRO said, “The Ondo State Police Command has recorded a significant breakthrough with the arrest of six suspects in connection with the alleged fraudulent sale and illegal transfer of three heavy-duty vehicles valued at over N71 million.
