Ukrainian air defense forces neutralized 212 out of the 229 drones launched by Russian troops against Ukraine since Saturday evening, with impacts recorded at 11 locations.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

Russian forces launched 229 drones of various types from 18:00 on May 30, including Shahed attack drones, among them jet-powered ones, as well as Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya decoy UAVs.

The drones were launched from areas near Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea.

The attack was countered by Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
