While Omdia's new research, "Identity Security for AI Agents," revealed numerous interesting findings, something that caught my eye was the radically changing budget dynamics around agentic AI adoption.
The study, which surveyed identity leaders in the US and Canada, showed how identity teams are rapidly evolving their existing identity and access management (IAM) tooling, focused on human and non-human identities, to put management and identity security in place for AI agent populations as well.
