The 30-day summer cricket coaching camp organised by the Alluri Sitharama Raju district under the initiative of Superintendent of Police, Amit Bardar, and with the support of Sarda Metals and Alloys Private Limited, Kottavalasa, at CAHS School, Talarasingi village, Paderu mandal concluded on Saturday.Mr. Bardar said that the objective of the initiative was to identify and nurture sports talent among tribal youth, encourage their participation in sports, and keep them away from negative influences. During the camp, around 100 tribal youth received basic and advanced cricket training under the guidance of three experienced coaches, he said.In addition to specialised coaching in batting, bowling, and fielding, the participants were also taught important values such as sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork. Upon successful completion of the training, certificates and cricket kits were distributed to all participants.Mr. Bardar also advised the tribal youth to stay away from harmful habits and remain focused on their education.
