The head of the World Health Organisation has arrived in the Democratic Republic of Congo to visit communities at the epicentre of the Ebola outbreak. At least 1200 cases have been confirmed so far – and it has spread to Uganda.

But while the WHO scrambles to contain a virus with no approved vaccine or treatment, the Trump administration has taken a very different approach – saying any Americans exposed to Ebola should be quarantined in Kenya. Nairobi’s high court has already ruled against that plan.
