Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s former husband, actor Naga Chaitanya has reportedly asked Delhi High Court to protect him against online content that allegedly damages his reputation. The Yeh Maaya Chesave star moved the court after facing several allegations of infidelity regarding their marriage went viral online. As per an ANI report, the actor claimed that his name, image and identity were misused online and he faced several third party allegations claiming he cheated on Samantha. He also raised concerns on being tormented by fake explicit content, AI-generated content using his identity. The case came up for hearing before Justice Jyoti Singh of the Delhi High Court on May 29. Representing the actor, advocate Vaibhav Gaggar argued that several online posts were spreading false allegations, including claims that the actor had strayed from his marriage to Samantha Ruth Prabhu and had deliberately damaged her professional career. He contended that such statements crossed the line from legitimate criticism into targeted harassment. “This is trolling, this is not fair criticism,” Gaggar told the court.Singh who heard the matter concluded that while celebrities are subject to greater scrutiny than ordinary people, it has its limitations. The court passed an interim order protecting the actor’s personality rights. The next hearing will be held on September 30. Naga Chaitanya and Samantha got hitched in 2017 and parted ways i 2021. The two had starred in hits such as Yeh Maaya Chesave and Majili. Chaitanya is now married to Made In Heaven actress Sobhita Dhulipala. Samantha married filmmaker Raj Nidimoru in 2025.
