The date for reopening of schools after summer vacation has been postponed to June 4 due to adverse weather conditions prevailing in the Union Territory.Director of School Education D. Mohan Kumar in a circular said earlier the schools were scheduled to reopen on June 1. In view of the prevailing heat wave conditions and based on the forecast issued by the Meteorological department, the government has decided to reopen the schools only on June 4.
