MANILA, Philippines — The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said Friday that an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) wanted for his daughter’s rape was extradited from Bahrain after getting arrested there.
At a press conference, the NBI stated that the suspect was classified as a fugitive and was wanted for two counts of rape under a warrant of arrest issued by Branch 5 of the Family Court in Trece Martires City, Cavite.
According to the NBI, the suspect OFW allegedly raped his daughter twice in 2015 and 2016 when he returned to the Philippines.
