Ukraine aligns sanctions with EU over involvement in Russian aggression, targeting 120 individuals and entities

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed two decrees enacting decisions by the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine (NSDC) to align Ukrainian sanctions with European Union decisions.

Quote: "The synchronisation of EU sanctions as part of the 20th package covers 120 individuals and organisations and introduces economic sanctions targeting key sectors of the Russian economy."

Details: Some of those listed were already under Ukrainian sanctions. The latest decision concerns a further 16 Russian citizens and 31 companies from Russia, Belarus, the United Arab Emirates, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
