HealthCare Global Enterprises Limited (HCG) has invested around ₹130 crore to set up a 175,086 sq. ft., 110-bed comprehensive cancer hospital in Byatarayanapura in Bengaluru.The new facility features Karnataka’s first Elekta Unity MR-Linac, a radiation therapy system that combines MRI imaging with a linear accelerator to deliver targeted cancer treatment, claims HCG.The centre also offers robotic-assisted modular operating theatres, chemotherapy beds, treatment bays, and a 15-bed ICU.Dr. B. S. Ajaikumar, founder & Chairperson of HealthCare Global Enterprises Limited, said, “Cancer care today has become increasingly data-driven, technology-oriented, and focused on improving long-term outcomes.”HCG’s goal was not only to prevent recurrences, but also to make even advanced and metastatic cancers manageable through personalised, multidisciplinary care.Actor and film director Kichcha Sudeep attended the inauguration. He said, “Cancer affects the entire family, not just the patient.
