State-owned miner NMDC reported standalone net profit rose 35% for the March quarter to ₹2,020.13 crore compared to the ₹1,496.16 crore a year earlier as total income increased 55%.Total income stood at ₹11,600.93 crore (₹7,443.91 crore). For FY26, the net profit increased 10% to ₹7,421.24 crore (₹6,692.60 crore) on a 30.71% rise in total income to ₹33,016.71 crore (₹25,258.56 crore).The company’s Board has recommended a final dividend of ₹1 per share (face value of ₹1 each) for 2025-26. This is in addition to the interim dividend of ₹2.50 per equity share already declared and paid during the fiscal.NMDC, which is India’s largest iron ore producer, had registered a record 53.15 million tonne output of the key raw material for steel in FY26. Sales during the fiscal year stood at 50.23 MT. The production was 21% higher compared to previous fiscal’s 44.07 MT, while sales rose 13% from 44.40 MT in 2024-25.
