ILOILO CITY — Some 36 former drug dependents took a significant step toward rebuilding their lives after successfully graduating from the city’s community-based rehabilitation program on Thursday, May 28, 2026.

The graduates, who comprise Batch 12 of the Iloilo City Change Center, completed the comprehensive Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP). A commencement ceremony was held in their honor at the USWAG Nutrition Center along General Luna Street, marking the culmination of their journey toward recovery.

The initiative, which centers on a holistic and compassionate approach to rehabilitation, aims to facilitate the smooth reintegration of former Persons Who Used Drugs (PWUDs) into society as productive, self-sufficient, and law-abiding citizens.
