Metropolitan Cebu Water District (MCWD), in partnership with Manila Water Philippine Ventures (MWPV) – Cebu, has recently expanded water access to residents of Barangay Canamucan in the Municipality of Compostela, Cebu. The additional drop-off project connects a 150mm pipeline from MWPV-Cebu’s 700mm main transmission line to MCWD’s existing distribution system in Barangay Canamucan, bringing 1.5 million liters of clean and safe water per day and ultimately serving an estimated population of 2,000 households.
