Through the rollout of its September desludging schedule, Manila Water continues to advance responsible wastewater management, helping protect waterways, safeguard public health, and sustain water resources for future generations.
MANILA, Philippines – As Manila Water continues to develop new water sources, expand treatment capacity, and improve distribution infrastructure, it likewise strengthens its wastewater management initiatives through its September desludging program.
This September, Manila Water encourages customers across the East Zone to participate in its desludging program, a preventive sanitation service that helps ensure the proper treatment and disposal of wastewater while protecting public health and the environment.
For September, Manila Water desludging teams will be deployed in the following East Zone barangays: Bagong Nayon, Sta. Cruz, and San Luis in Antipolo City; San Andres in Cainta; Sta. Ana in Taytay; Pantok and Pila Pila in Binangonan; Baras and Jalajala in Rizal; Guitnang Bayan I in San Mateo; San Jose, San Isidro, and San Rafael in Rodriguez (Montalban); and Bambang in Pasig City. The desludging teams will also visit select accounts in the following barangays: Sauyo, Blue Ridge A and B, Bayanihan, and Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City.
