Turkey stated that two of its citizens were wounded as a result of a drone attack on a cargo ship in the Black Sea that was traveling from Odesa.
According to Ukrinform, Turkey's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced this in a statement.
"A Turkish owned, Vanuatu flagged vessel transporting dry cargo from the Port of Odesa, Ukraine, to Türkiye was attacked last night (28 May) by an unmanned aerial vehicle, resulting in minor injuries to two of our citizens in the crew," the Turkish Foreign Ministry said.
It was noted that their condition is being monitored by Turkey's Consulate General in Odesa.
Turkey's Foreign Ministry expressed concern over the escalation in the Black Sea related to the war.
