Self-proclaimed Belarusian president Alexander Lukashenko has claimed that, following a request from Macron during their conversation on 24 May, he agreed to receive an envoy from the French president, who will be visiting Belarus shortly.

Details: Lukashenko said he reproached the French leader, saying there was little to discuss after Macron visited Yerevan but did not travel to either Moscow or Minsk.
Quote from Lukashenko: "What is there to talk about? He [Macron – ed.] said to me: 'Mr President, could you receive my envoy and speak with him so he can come and explain all this to me?'"
