Washington Examiner columnist Joe Concha blasted former first lady Jill Biden for allegedly covering up concerns over the health of former President Joe Biden after a 2024 debate with then-presidential candidate Donald Trump.Biden’s concerns were brought to light during a sit-down interview on CBS News’s Sunday Morning as part of a tour to promote her new memoir, View from the East Wing.Biden said she was “frightened” by her husband’s performance in the debate and thought he was having a stroke.
“If you say that you thought that your husband was having a stroke on national television during a debate, and then after that debate, you literally take him to the Waffle House, that’s not a good thing,” Concha said on Fox News’s Hannity Thursday.
“If we’re handing out awards here for worst spouse of the century, Dr. Jill Biden certainly is the front-runner.”
After the 2024 debate, Joe stopped at a Waffle House, where he bought campaign aides dinner.
“It’s like, ‘Hey, Joe, do you want more butter and syrup with that waffle? It’s great for the heart.’ I mean, somebody get a defibrillator,” Concha said.
