The State government has released a sum of ₹2,000 crore of pending dues as the first instalment for the employees.As per the directions of Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, the pending dues were released on Friday. In a statement issued here on Friday, Mr. Bhatti said the Revanth Reddy government has once again demonstrated its commitment to the welfare of its employees. It has not limited its promises to mere words but has translated them into action.Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka had earlier assured leaders of the Employees’ Joint Action Committee (JAC) that long-pending dues of employees amounting to ₹6,000 crore would be cleared within 100 days.In tune with their commitment, under the instructions of the Deputy Chief Minister, Finance Department Special Chief Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania issued orders releasing ₹2,000 crore in the first phase.With the funds released today, the government has fully cleared key pending dues related to retired employees. The General Provident Fund (GPF) dues of retired employees have been cleared 100%. Additionally, all commutation dues pending up to May 2025 for retired employees have also been fully settled.“This has been made possible through advance planning and a clear action strategy. As promised, the government is working at a fast pace to deposit the remaining ₹4,000 crore into employees’ accounts within the stipulated timeline,” the Deputy CM said.Employee union leaders and retired employees have expressed happiness over the government’s proactive approach and swift decisions, thanking the government.
