Retail giant Woolworths is beefing up security and hiring private forensic experts across SA after explosive devices went off inside two of its stores.
The high-tech security upgrades come after midnight blasts hit its Menlyn Park store in Pretoria on Thursday and the Preller Square branch in Bloemfontein on Friday.
In both attacks, the devices exploded inside the stores.
Woolworths CEO Sam Ngumeni said affected staff were receiving trauma support.
